The first PechaKucha evening hosted by Tcell

PechaKucha - is an international for creative people, it is the skill and precision of short presentations, performances in public. Dushanbe became one of the 968 cities in the world, which are officially registered in the PechaKucha. The first official PechaKucha evening took place in Tcell head office. There were seven speakers, large audience of listeners and warm and friendly atmosphere for creativity, exchange of ideas and thoughts.

PechaKucha (in Japanese - "blah blah blah," "chatter") was born in Japan in 2003. Originally intended as a one-time event for young designers and architects who want to express themselves. But this event became very popular throughout the world, and now it has 968 participating cities.

The essence of the performances at PechaKucha - to talk about work, hobbies, interests in a unique format - 20 slides presentations, each of in exactly 20 seconds. The format of "20 × 20" allows you to make short presentations and dynamic. Thus, for the entire presentation speaker is given in general 6 minutes and 40 seconds time.

In addition to the rules of 20 × 20, there are no restrictions. Initially, the presentation had to be limited to the theme of creativity. But now there is no limitation; just the person should be a good presenter.

You can talk about personal interests, hobbies, impressions reading a book or movies you have watched, travel, own research and observations.

Tcell Company supported a PechaKucha night in Dushanbe. There were different participants among presenters.  Our idea to support the initiative was to give the platform to young, talented and creative people, leaders to realize their ideas and capabilities.

Seven speakers attended the first PechaKucha evening in Dushanbe: Aziz Timurov talked about his project "Living Library." Sitora Yusufbekova calculated the Tajiks who can fly into space. Presenters talked about their work, hobbies, projects, and finding creative even in the dry statistics. The evening passed in a friendly and warm atmosphere, wh ere everyone - both speakers and listeners, had something to say and show.
