Tcell congratulates with the launch of Rogun hydropower station!

November 16, 2018 is a historic day for the whole Tajikistan! On President’s Day, which is celebrated annually on this day, the first unit of the Rogun hydropower plant was officially launched, which means that a huge step has been taken towards the fulfillment of one of the Strategic goals for the sustainable development of the country's economy - ensuring the energy independence of Tajikistan! The launch of the Rogun hydropower plant, which will become the largest hydropower plant in Central Asia, is a big step in creating a single energy system of the country. Constant and confident development of the state’s economy is impossible without energy independence and full provision of all sectors with electricity, which the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has repeatedly stressed out in his speeches.

Tcell brought the fourth-generation 4G high-speed network to Kulyab!

Tcell became the first telecommunications company to provide Kulyab residents with high-speed 4G connection! The 4G network already covers most of the city territory, allowing almost 100,000 city residents to connect to the network and enjoy all the benefits of high-speed Internet!

Experts of Tajikistan share their experience at the “Open Forums” in Tcell for over 3 years

Tcell’s Open Forum is a unique platform for sharing experience and open dialogue between the speaker and the audience. Visiting Tcell Open Forums is free for everyone: from high school students to professionals in their field who want to share knowledge and experience.

From June 2015 to the present, more than 50 Open Forums have been held. The speakers were experts in various fields: telecommunications, finance, business, public speaking and art of presentations, marketing and advertising, sales, psychology, linguistics, photo and video art and this is not a complete list.

In 2015, the project began as a series of small meetings with speeches of the company's employees for the public. With each month, the project was expanding, involving many coaches, speakers, and specialists from various fields, including international experts. For example, in Tcell, the Forums were held by Alex Long, a Google employee in the Asia-Pacific region, Sergey Dolzhenkov, a psychologist, organizational development consultant from Kyrgyzstan, Denis Batalin, an expert on digital marketing and online advertising for “Adconsult”, Nona Madjidi, Deputy Director of American Councils for International Education, Leila Amongossova, Marketing, Service and Sales Development Specialist from Kazakhstan.

In 2018, Sharaf Davlatov, director of American Space Dushanbe, told the audience about the activities and achievements of the American Corner in Dushanbe, Karina Safoeva, director of development in “55 Group”, told how girls in Tajikistan are able to make a successful career. Kakhramon Bakozoda, Director of the Zerkalo Center for Sociological Research, explained the most common mistakes of start-up entrepreneurs and how, nevertheless, to avoid them. Leila Amongossova played with the audience in a business game, where with concrete examples she showed how to build value reference points for the team. Rustam Khojaev and Komil Radjabov, representatives of the Tajikistan Oracle User Group, told how the Tajik IT community is developing.

The project “Open Forum in Tcell” was awarded at the international level: in November and December 2016, the project received two major international awards: the Best Educational Event on EACA Award (Event Awards Central Asia) and the Best Social Event on Global Events Award. At that time, the Open Forums project was recognized as one of the best educational projects among 84 projects from 11 countries submitted for the competition.

TEDx with Tcell connection: from Dushanbe to Florida!

An international event, TEDxFSCJ, was held in Dushanbe, where Tcell acted as a digital partner. Internet from Tcell connected Dushanbe and Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Innovative speakers of the two countries shared their experiences and talked about “Fearless Innovations”.

The topic of the TEDxFSCJ discussion in Dushanbe were Fearless Innovations, and the choice of topic was not accidental. Technological progress is moving fast forward every minute of our lives. It penetrates deeply into the everyday life of people, makes social changes, helps to develop business, culture, thoughts and ideas in a better, progressive direction.
